Insurance Coverage

Most extended health plans cover services from Registered Psychotherapists. We provide official receipts after each session that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Tip: Check with your insurance provider about your coverage for "Registered Psychotherapist" or "RP" services before your first session.

Tax-Eligible Medical Expense

Fees for services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist qualify as eligible medical expenses under the Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. You may be able to claim these fees on your annual income tax return.

Tip: Keep your receipts and consult with a tax professional about claiming psychotherapy fees as medical expenses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you direct bill insurance?

We don't direct bill, but we provide receipts that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Most extended health plans cover Registered Psychotherapists.

What's your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full session fee.

How do I pay?

Payment is collected at the time of booking through Jane App. We accept credit cards and debit.
